Delivery driver beaten, robbed of marijuana

(SanDiegoTribune) The driver had been sent to take medical marijuana to the south end of Santo Road, near Patriot Street. He met a man and woman there, Delimitros said. The man pulled out a handgun and used it to repeatedly club the delivery man’s head. One round went off, but didn’t hit anyone, police said. The pair drove away in a black Mercedes Benz with tinted windows. Police were called about 11:20 p.m. No detailed description of the robbers was given.
