Undoing the Stigma: The Impact of Cannabis Prohibition on the Subconscious…

March 29 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We are happy to be hosting Jess Dugan for a workshop March 29th at 7:00pm in The Lounge at Harvest off Mission.

Eradicating the stigma surrounding cannabis will take lifetimes. Although many of us are well on our way to undoing the stigma, subconscious effects remain and are present for many. This workshop places the impact of prohibition under the microscope in order to begin our deepest work yet.

Attendees will:

  • Discuss the stigma associated with cannabis
  • Identify how this stigma plays out in the subconscious mind
  • Explore the impact of subconscious wounding as it relates to one’s ability to heal/ operate fully
  • Practice tools that support overcoming deep rooted stigma

Jessica served as employee number one at the ArcView Group– our nation’s first cannabis investment firm. While stewarding it’s deep-rooted investor community, she launched a business-mindfulness initiative to help combat the heavy demands felt across the emerging sector. Jessica believes a sustainable business starts with sustainable employees and advocates for employee health and well-being. She is a mind/body coach certified through Interchange Counseling Institute and holds a 200 hr teaching certificate through the Yoga Alliance. Most recently, she produced a one day yoga festival and assisted in the launch of an adaptive yoga program for people with special needs. Prior to her work in VC, Jessica ran a conscious living blog dedicated to the appreciation of live music and covered events internationally.
